    News to my Stratos family........first!

We've been pretty clear that some brands were leaving, some were staying and some would be added at C&O Boat Group.

My very good friend Mike Allen (purple haze) asked me the other day "what would YOUR dream rig be?"

I pondered on it a while and stated "Allison 21 Bassport 2 seater with a 250 XS Optimax".

As of today we are an Allison dealer............there will be some other brand announcements soon.........probably this week.

Congratulations Todd. I just checked the website for inventory, but I must be a little premature.

I didn't tell Nancy what to rig it for before I left to Missouri......so it wasn't ready Friday. My cell took a dump out west and she couldn't get ahold of me.

It's a 21 Bassprt 2 seater.......white on top and bottom and the entire sides are Porsche Red.........I have a 300XS swinging in the air waiting to go on with a C&O Sportmaster case.........32 Lab ET prop for it.

We spent several hours going over the boats in all forms of completion....we know what we're looking at! The Allison construction methods are time consuming but flawless. I have several pics on my Q phone........I need to upload them and see if they're worth publishing.

Can you catch fish going that fast, I have always struggled trying to cast running down the lake.

Can't catch fish doing 20 either. So 70, 80, 90, 100 + doesn't let you catch fish at those speeds, but it sure makes the ride more exciting.

Re: News to my Stratos family........first! (MD ZX225)

As a prior Allison owner, there's just not another boat built as well as this brand (opinion). They may not be for everyone but with the new 2 seat Bassport Pro, a lot of the concerns I had with my XB2003 have been answered.

    p.s. anyone looking for a good deal on a C&O purchased 2006 Champ 210?...

OK - tell us what is going on - "some brands are leaving and some brands are staying" I smell Phenix on the way maybe???? Stratos is staying isn't it? I need to look at those Allisons not to buy though (too fast for me)- the last one I saw was probebly seven or eight years ago while I was fishing a tournament on Guntersville - never see them up here.

No Phoenix........We'll be adding Pro Craft / Tahoe (pleasure boats) for sure and 1 more we're lining up that's off in the distance a bit.

We've had no contact with Phoenix at all.

    Stratos is staying.......no danger there.

I sold my 21 Allison that was pegged as a demo........I may get to run one one of these days.
