I'm not familar w/ the Stratos, but my friend just bought a new 294 w/ a Yamaha 200. What size jack plate, prop, and motor height is recommended ?![]()

6" plate and start at 3.5 below pad and move up in 1/4 increments keeping an eye on h2o pressure. My guess is he will end up somewhere around 3" below. I would also post in in the setups page. Todd is the moderator and knows the Stratos line better than most. Your friend has a rig that should run low 70's everyday.![]()

6" plate, 3 1/2" below like previously mentioned....try a 26 raker, maybe a 27 tempest.
i have the ETEC HO on my 294, i turn a 27 tempest with no problem. run in the mid 70's with a light load.
