    Hollow body or soft toad?

Which do you prefer? Or do you use both depending situations?

I love a zoom horny toad or Stanley ribbit buzzing over flat top grass like mil foil or hydrilla but we don’t really have much of either anymore around here…. It’s pretty much all round lily pads which I don’t really love but, they hold fish.. I find myself throwing a hollow body more and more…

Hollow body. If I’m throwing a bait like Ribbit then I’m probably throwing a buzzbait first

I prefer a Hollow Body but will throw a Zoom Horny Toad at times.

I prefer a toad.. catch a lot more fish on a toad than a hollow body.

I like the ribbits, more durable than horny toads and a louder noise, but I throw both

Love to throw a ribbit around hydrilla in the summer. Buzzbait when the wind is strong. The horny toad is a good one also, caught two DD's on the horny. The floating frog is best for me when there is shade or clouds.

Normally I start with black ribbet if that slows down I move to a black or white horny just like the blows ups on a swimming frog. If it seems slow or they short striking I use hollow popper or walker. Then I say screw this grass and go skip docks.
