I have a 92 stratos 285 with a johnson fast strike 150...... It pulls right very hard.....i went to adjust the trim tab and its not like most ive seen.....it is just the trim tab cover with about a 1.5" groove in the back........underneath the cover on the bottom side appears to be something....not sure how to adjust it or even if it does adjust .....please help...thanks so much
put you a torque tab on the skeg and it will take care of the pull.

When does it do this? At idle speeds, or when running...If when running, the trim tab will not help anything...A torque tab will probably not help much on that boat/motor either...Probably a damaged prop or engine height issue...Is the prop in good shape and what prop are you running..
My 278 pulled hard to the right and I put a torque tab on, it helped some but not much. I lifted the motor with a jack plate but when the torque went away it also got too high and I did a 180 when trying to turn. Don't do that! The only thing that worked for me was Sea Star hydrolic steering. The have a cheaper model out for 150 motors. Still was expensive though.
