I am debating on installing a Stereo/CD player on my boat. I have the docking station for my XM radio also.
I can't bring myself to cut holes in the boat for the speakers. I may regret it,and have to live with it forever.
Any suggestions of how to do this without fiberglass cutting? Does anyone have an opinion if it is a great thing to have or not worth the trouble?

just get yourself some deck type mounting speakers that are waterproof . JC Whitney , radio shack , or the local speed shop where all the kids hang out . JC's are reasonably priced , and you can aim 'em right at ya when your done .
Fished with a guy the other day who had XM in his boat. Sure was nice listening to tunes without hearing the same commercials over and over and over again. This was my first time listening to satelite radio for more than a few minutes. I can do without a stereo in my boat but I did like his.

I added a stereo last year, however I didn't get one that was weather resistant...lesson learned!
All that $$$ I spent on a Pioneer and moisture got in it while the carpet was drying. But hey, I just got a new bluetooth cell and I think it has an MP3 player (since it has a stereo headphone jack). I'll have to do more research on it, though.
