    Lithium Pros customer service

Long story short I had a 36 volt battery issue and sent it back to them (battery purchased in 2015 and I'm 2nd owner). Just got word they will be sending me a free replacement battery. I was very nervous about having to buy a new one but am so far happy with their service.

I will update when I get the battery back but so far they have been great with technical and charging questions. Credit where credit is due.

Only 1 failed. Something caused increased voltage while charging. I had the charger start smoking so that may have caused it. Regardless, they are taking care of it, and they have been very responsive.

If you have a battery out of warranty, he can look at it and replace the bad cells and get you back on the water. You don’t have to buy a new battery.

I second their great customer service. They worked really hard with me and the manufacturer to help get me a replacement charger sent out quickly!

I'm glad some have good experiences. I can't say I've had good or bad experience with them...they haven't replied to any of my inquiries. I just wanted to ask them directly about compatibility with my boat, and no response.

Have you tried calling them? They don’t come on here very often they sell batteries for all kinds of performance applications.

I agree their customer service was good though I returned my cranking and trolling batteries I bought from them after one year of use and trying to make them work. The 80 ah battery was not enough to run my boat all day and it was difficult to get the charging right, compared to the ease of an AGM battery. My boat was factory equipped with a Minn Kota PC 2 bank charger for the lithium, however Minn Kota technical service said they do not recommend charging lithium batteries with their chargers, no matter what setting they are on. The trolling battery worked great, but I could not mix an AGM and a lithium together if I only replaced the cranking battery, again due to charging issues.

I tried another companies lithiums after that only to have their recommended charger fail (putting out too high a voltage) and the cranking lithium fail after just 1 month of use. The weight saving/handling (lifting) is great, but the expense of the batteries was not worth it to me. In my opinion, their biggest issue they have is charging them correctly and when they have that worked out and a true idea how long they will last for return on investment. Pros using them is nice, but how many keep their boats for any extended length of time?
