98 285 PE main wiring terminal location question?

I have a 1998 285 Pro Elite and I'm hooking up a set of docking lights on the front. I was told by the dealer that it would be best to hook the wires for the light into the main wiring terminals that would be near the console. I have looked and can't find a main terminal under the console anywhere. If anyone has any information on where the terminals might be it would help alot. Also is that the best way to hook up the lights? Thanks in advance for any information.

not really sure on that either. Maybe from the console(switch boards) since there really isn't any main terminals or fuse panel.
