A screaming eagle theme!

This is a good time to get feed back on some thoughts for the 2009 motor cover designs. I was thinking that on the 60 degree engines that a "Screamin' Eagle" design would be just awsome! Fits that plat form to a "T". For the big monster H.O. 90 degree engines, something in a " Nasty storm effect", Maybe a large bolt of lightning from a eerily monstrous cloud. Fits that platform to a "T". I can see the nervous tension on the face of the copetitors as they stumble and fall as they try to get on plane. Not being able to touch the performance or the feel of the mighty E-tec as it gently starts, then just pounds the *&%$ out of them as they hit the shotgun start out of the boat launch! MMMMM, thats the way daddy likes it!

No complaints about my 2007 but there is room for improvement in the looks department. A mix of the current flag theme with the "never produced for general public" prostaff DI blurred stars & stripes would look awesome.

Might it be time for outboard manufactures to catch up to the 1920's & offer a color choice? To hell with tradition, give me a black Etec with the old DI prostaff blurred stars & stripes. I know this creates some manufacturing challenges but for the price we pay it should be a choice.

Now one design feature of the Etec I hated at first but came to like is the sharp edge on the front of the cowl. I liked the smooth cowl on the DI. After purchasing my Etec, the first time mother nature called & I could not get to the bank in time the sharp edge came in handy as a grip as I done my business off the back transom. Note to self, no more Mexican food the night before a tournament.

Ya Roger has a sharp rig, and that cowl really sets it off. Those cowls were originally for the pros. Would look sharp on my rig, if I could afford one of 'em babies!!!!!

Hi Guys.

I think that the Evinrude looks very nice the way it is, if you start adding stars and stripes you may have to add maple leafs on the other side of the cowling to represent Bombardier's Canadian side. Just my opinion.

OK, I'll come up north and get a bag full of Maple leaves that have fallen and put a few in the Belly pans when I go fishing. Just messing with ya!

Good idea( AC ) along with the maple leafs you could ad a few of our( loonie dollars ) it closed at $101.894 yesterday against your green back dollar. Hurry because this may not last to long
