    Structure Scan on 2008 ZX200

I have a 2008 zx200 that I just installed the structure scan transducer on. I used the L-bracket from transducer shield and saver to mount to my jackplate. I've been told that on some of the older skeeters that the bracket needs to also have the extenders so the transducer has a clear sight line. Does my 2008 fall into this category??

Take you some string or ribbion and span it across the sponsons and see if the ducer clears them...if it does no need...here is a pic of mine when i installed my LSS...as you can see the pink ribbon is where the bottom of the sponsons are and the ducer is below that, the yellow is where the sides come out and it clears it also...so no problems...

What does everyone think about the location of the SS transducer? Is it going to be low enough?

It's lower than mine and I get good pics.
