As long as the hole size is the same and the depth of the latch mechanism works I would say all is well. You can use the metal T-handle type but they are pricey at $25.00 or so each

I have the same year boat as yours, I bought these http://www.teamcandomarine.com...c.htm However I had to do some modifying because the one's I bought we a little larger than what came on the boat. C&O does give a 10% discount for BBC members. Just tell Carol when you take to her.

Rodney, these dont look like they sit flush with the floor. I got 4 new T&H T-handle latches that are too tall also. I dont think the bass cat latches will work. You need something that will fit 2 3/8 inch hole with a cam that will reach the aluminium deck frame. I even called T&H asking about the specific latches I needed and they never called me back.

Your right Rich, when I get around to recarpet it I'm going to "step down" the hole.

Me too, if you find some ss ones for less than $60 let us know. $60 x 11 latches is... to much lol

How do you "step down" the hole? I have the same latches and don't like how they stick up.

    Re: zx225 comparment latches (Skeet195)

I bought some online that were a bit too big for the holes. I used a file and some "elbow grease" and made them fit. Best decision I've ever made...hated them plastic cheap latches....
