Changing livewell out hose 1994 champion 190 DC Contender

I am changing a broken through hull fitting for livewell out hose. Was thinking of changing hose also. How is this done. I see the hose in the compartment in the rear battery fuel area that connects to hull fitting. How do I gain access to other end that goes into livewell
    Thank

Get a piece of dowel or tubing and "splice" the new and old together, then tape. Use the old to pull the new in. You can mix up some soapy water to lube the new to ease the installation.

Great idea. How do I gain access to livewell end. I see a black screen. I popped that off and it looks like a fitting

There should be a panel on the forward wall of the tank/battery compartment. Look for screws buried in the carpet in the upper corners. To get to the livewell drain, you may have to remove the batteries and oil tank. There should be a lid that covers the bilge area.
