    Thanks to Moeller Marine

I've had trouble with my motor all year and couldn't find the problem. After I winterized it I started to replace all the fuel lines on the boat. First thing i checked was the problem. The induction tube in one of my fuel tanks was cracked at the top where it connects to the 90 deg fitting. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I called the dealer and they couldn't get one, they didn't have a parts number for it. I called Moeller and they said they did not sell to the public. The girl gave me some numbers to call, West Marine. She asked me what part I needed. She took my name and number and wrote down the part I needed. Today I got a phone call from Mike at Moeller. He said he was going to send me 2 induction tubes. Free of charge and told me if I needed anything else in the future, to call him. My boat is an 06 and is not under warranty. That was a real nice thing for him to do!!!

Re: Thanks to Moeller Marine (Skeeter ZX-190)

Next time you talk to him .... tell him I got a brand new 9 gallon portable tank I bought a few months ago that leaks like a sieve around the tank caps/fittings and the anti-splash cup (it's located on the bottom of the fill cap) has come off and currently in the bottom of the tank.

'Worst' Marine won't take it back b/c I've put gas in it. WTF?????? How else are you going to know it's a bad tank ....... The salesman said I should have put water in it.

I left before I killed someone.

Re: Thanks to Moeller Marine (Ranger391v)

Well ..... I too need to give a SPECIAL THANKS to Jason Hale !!!!!

He didn't have to get in contact with me about my portable gas tank for my Xpress boat ............ but being the great person that he is, he did.

Now the problem was quickly taken care of and Moeller is taking care of the bill.

Jason ....... You Da Man ! I now know why everyone was so sad to see you get out of the boat selling business.

Again, thanks for everything you've done.
