That new console layout on the ZX looks much butter than it did on the 10-11 ZXs, looks like the new console design may offer more leg room too.

What is the difference between the TZX and ZX line?

Do you know if that Tuff Coat on the trailer is standard for this year on the FX series ?

TZX will be the Smaller Boats and the ZX will be the larger boats in the current ZX series...don't remember all the numbers of the models...TZX will be competitng with other entry level boats but has some great standard features. 5" ELectonics in dash, recessed trolling motor pedal. Very nice economical boat with upgraded features compared to other brands.

I have heard rumors that they were going to put the "bells and whistles" back on the i-class or at least make that an option. Can anyone confirm that?

The FX is a nice boat but the 20i fits me better and I was hoping to be able to buy a 2012 with all the goodies plus a SHO. Any info would be appreciated.

Looks nice!

I like the flat panel on the front – allows for some customization without a lot of work

Looks like a lot of leg room

Love the look of multi function gages

The curved design of the sides of the dash on the ZX look like it would be difficult to add additional electronics

I see they have abandoned the digital touch panels – good for reliability but doesn’t look as good

Questions:

Do the gas caps come off? If so too easy to lose or steal

Is the drain/over flow/bilge ports chromed metal or chromed plastic? I’ve found that chromed plastic can have a lot of issues – break easy – scratch easy and flake a lot

The gas caps had a chain on them like the FX currently have.

The FX Bilge Hole Covers are Chromed Metal...the Drain Plug is even metal on the new FX.

Website never updates until the beginning of the year when the 2012's start hitting the dealer lots and boat show season begins.
