Ultrex and Skeeter Factory Cover
I'm swapping out my Fortrex for an Ultrex. I've heard there is a chance that my Skeeter factory cover will no longer fit as a result. Does anyone out there have real world experience with this issue? Any information would be appreciated.

I've got a 12 ZX 190 that had the standard Motorguide on it. Upgraded to Ultrex, well yesterday, and I have the factory travel cover. It is TIGHT. It really doesn't go over the rail very good on the trolling motor side. Thinking of trying to get the cover modified so as not to put to much pressure on the motor. That motor is a big difference from what I had.

You will need a new cover or need to have material added for the Ultrex swap.

If you wanna see pics of what mine looks like, I'll be glad to send them to you. Its not that all that bad, just very tight across the motor. Can't get them to attach, but if you'll PM me a phone # you get texts on or an email I'll send them.

It should be fine, the mount is the same from the FORTREX to the ULTREX. Cant compare the Motorguide to the Ultrex. The Motorguide sits a lot closer to the deck, and the Fortrex and Ultrex sit up a lot higher
