    How to maximize performance?

Alright guys, I have some questions. I've been a fisherman for a long time and never worried too much about boat speed. I have a 2004 TZX 190 with a 175 HPDI. I ran it with 2 guys and a tournament load at 60 and just me with almost full gas around 65. I brought the jack plate up about an inch today, it was pretty much all the way down. How fast can I expect this boat to go? What do I need to do to max this boat out?

65 sounds like the end of the speed road...never did understand why bigger always had to be faster...the 200hdpi rigs do 68-70 (I had 2)...doubt Skeeter would overlap stock speeds except on the higher price end models...
Hydro-Tec can get you another 4-5mph w/o issues...been there too...my 200 was outrunning the 225s regularly...Turbos generally get the best Skeeter speeds...been there too.

IDK what these guys are talking about .... you ought to be 65 with 2 people and a tournament load.

Motor mounted in the second hole down from the top on a 12" Slidemaster .......

    Run a 25M ..... for top speed ..... 2 1/8" jackplate seperation .... should be between 65-67mph

Run a 24 TR04 .... for good speed, and better handling in turns and rough water ...... 2 3/8" seperation ....... should be around 64-65mph

Anything slower than the above range ... you're probably carrying too much crap. The above 'slow' number is my Bass Pro/Cabelas/etc heavy load speeds. If I end up filling BOTH livewells slam full, you can -1mph off the above.

Oh, max recommended rpm's for tha motor depend on the year manufactured ...... 5500rpm was recommended for most, 6000rpm was for a handful of years in the late 2000 models (I think it was like '07-'08)....... but ALL of them will safely turn 6000rpm. So just make sure you're hitting somewhere between 5500-6000. I think I'm arounf 5700-5800.

From what I understand talking to others whom have tried alot of props on this setup ........ the ones looking for speed always seem to come back to the 25M (stock form or tweaked).
