2010skeeter fx 21 livewell problem

My starboard and port livewell fill pumps run but do not pump water into the livewells---any suggestions? I am presently at Cayuga practicing for a tournament

Sometimes the hoses from pump to intake are to long and need to be cut off an inch or 2, read this

This happened to me a couple of weeks ago on my fx20. Try opening your back lids to get to your pumps. Lift gently up on your hose leaving the pump headed to your livewell. Mine started working instatly. I have also read that if you put the boat in reverse with the pumps running that would work to.

This is a long time problem on ZX 200's/ Usually airlock. I agree check the hoses for their course and lengnth, correct what you can. avoid humps and dips as much as possible. For the Zx's most start the big motor w/ the pumps running and bump in revererse. this forces water in the lines and the flow.

pisses you off when you see this is a recurrent issue and they never correct it.

Just throw it in reverse and give er some gas....will brake the airlock and they will work untill it happens again

Pay that much for a boat, you shouldn't have to be cutting hoses and modifying stuff.
