    Who is....

Running a 25 Tempest or Tempest Plus on a ZX225 with a 225 yammie? If so how does it perform, i am running a 27M right now and im thinking i might need to go to a 25p. This prop stuff stresses me out

not sure how the big skeeters run but the tempest made my boat ride too low. felt like i was in a submarine. i would try a 25T if i were you.

Put a 25T1 on it. It's made for the Yammy.

    Re: Who is.... (sktrss150)

I'm running a 27 tempest plus on a zx250/250 ox66. It launches out of the hole and top speed with a tournament load + partner is around 72 or so. By myself with a tournament load, I've hit 75 a time or two.

Over the last year I'm managed to bent my prop shaft and beat the propeller to hell, and I'm still running about 67 with all the damage. But, I think I am going to get a T1 soon and see how it runs. I had the M1 when I got the boat, and it threw a blade the first time I took the boat to the lake, so that made me go with the Tempest over the T1. At the time I didn't realize (and evidently neither did my dealer) that there was an issue with the M1's on the bigger motors.
