Recarpet Trailer- 2004 Tzx190 trailer

Where would I get carpet to change out on my trailer guides and bunks?? Also how much would I need? How hard is it to do?

Is there any do it yourself threads on this? Or should I just have a marina do it so it comes out right?

You can get the bunk carpet from Bass Pro Shops. I just did a Xpress trailer and it was not too bad, but it is up to you if you feel like doing it or having someone else do it for you.

How do you get the carpet off the wheel cover area? thats the one that is worn down and creating a possible issue in the forseeable future.....also isnt that metal and not wood??

It's an easy job....if it's like my 05' trailer should be the same....for the bunks i just used the same carpet that i had on there...for the carpet on the fenders, mine is some type of plastic and not wood...it is screwed down on the backside of the trailer....you have to have the boat off when accessing the screws....like said you can get the carpet at the big box boat stores or check with your local boat shop...i used stainless steel staples to put it on the new boards and got some new lag screws....just make sure you have all your supplies before heading to the lake....

Trailer for my TZX-190 was made by EZLoader, in Arkansas. I got new bunk carpet from them to fit.

I would also like to know how to get the carpet off the inside of the wheel wells. Bunks are straigtfoward, but I'm not sure about the back of the fender/wheel well area.

I bought one of those from EZ Loader also. I had to have the fender repaired and EZ Loader helped with all the parts.

I kind of need to do this as well, but I thought I'd just change the bunks out with new carpeted bunks. wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just do it that way? I'm not going to do anything with the fender carpet I don't think.

I bought mine from bass pro shops. Had the perfect amount for each bunk, cut some new plywood for mine and they turned out great.

For the wheel wells on my trailer the piece of PE covered with carpet is screwed to the fender. Had to take boat off trailer to remove.
