just got new zx 190 woundering if this is correct

ok 2011 zx 190 with 175 hpdi it has 2 hours on it , i was woundering when i first start it up and let it idle it runs at a couple hundred rpms put in gear and it doesnt move nor do rpms drop ok now i run it down lake for a bit and stop and then restart it idles at 5-6 hundred rpms put it in gear it will go about 2 .5 mph on its own with out touching hot foot is this normal never had a hot foot setup before, so when i go to load it have to kick it in and out of gear no biggie just want to know if this is correct thanks

Sounds right to me. Mine does the exact same thing, just a little higher rpms but thats due to I have a carbed motor and the HPDI's only run on 2 or 4 cylinders (cant remember at the moment which one) at idle.
