    Steering Wheel Insert

Fishing in some pretty cold conditions here up north and all of a sudden the silver insert on my steering wheel pops out! What would you recommend to adhere it back into place? 2 part epoxy?

i would use clear silicone. that way you can get it off if you have to pull the wheel for any reason. mine has been riding in the glove box for 7 years now. keep meaning to put that thing back on.

i don't think he is talking about the center piece. it looks like the silver trim up along the wheel itself is missing.

Correct Dave, it's the trim not the center piece. At 9:00 on the Steering Wheel. You can see it has some "left over" adhesive of some kind.

Automotive trim adhesive type stuff. Possibly (3-M) 77 spray adhesive. Spray the inside of the trim. Maybe tape up outside some so as to not get spray on it. After you have replaced it, tape with some blue painters tape to hold tight for a while.
