    ZX200 setup for max speed

I am trying to dial in my 06 ZX200 with an 05 3.1L 200 Vmax. With my current setup, I am getting 69mph @ 5975 rpm, 25p T1 prop B&B by Mark, 2 inches below pad, 22-24 water psi, tourney load, myself and 1/4 tanks fuel. What can I do to get in the 70's? I read some older posts that a 26p txp should put me in the sweet spot. What do y'all think? Any ideas or tips/tricks and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

From what I see with mine, it sounds like you got it dialed in pretty good!

I'd say you're at the sweet spot for the 25p T1.

You could try a 26P TXP which will hurt your hole shot but not by too much. It should give you a slight increase on top end speed and your rpms will drop by about 200. You could then go slightly higher on the jp too seeing as your wp is good.

Another option is to lose some weight out of the boat somewhere

Re: ZX200 setup for max speed (hawkeye75972)

i have a 08 an have hit 70 once in cold weather, with my plate at almost 8 dots showing and light load. you have your set up about as good as it gets. the t1 is faster than my txp 25 but the txp is my best all around prop at 7 dots about 3" below pad. the t1 dings up real easy and slows you down alot.
    be cool

try a 25 Fury it got mine up to 72 to 73 at 5700-5800 rpm and that was mid august 100+ degrees exact same set-up and boat you have and I had a buddy had a zx190 with a 175 yamaha and I let him run it and he hit 71

Thanks for all the help guys. Looks like it's time to start playing with some different props and see what I get then.
