    Panoptix is a game changer

Just got back from a walleye trip in Canada and could not be happier with the PS 30. I fished from 3' to 9' of water and I could see fish with ease. Out fished my buddy 5 to 1 which drove him crazy. Needless to say he is now in the market for the Panoptix as well. I also have the PS 31 and did mark some fish with it but not nearly as many as the walleyes were tight to the bottom. I could watch the fish get pulled off the bottom then attack the jig tipped with a minnow. When fish just looked at the jig and didn't bite most often it was because I had lost my minnow. It was amazing how the PS 30 would pick up the fish even if they were right on the bottom. Can't wait to try it as the fish start moving deeper. I am completely hooked on Panoptix and won't be able to go back to blind fishing.

Do you have the PS 30 attached to trolling motor or transom?

Have my PS-30 on the transom both boats. Last fall on Leech, fishing a south wind pounding into the shore 8' of water. In the live view mode, the bottom wasn't up down like on my 2D. Like you could see the fish below the boat swimming around. Love the PS-30

I am wondering how the view would look in the water column with miles of suspended Asian carp, as we have in KY Lake. I am thinking it is best for cool/cold water fish communities and those where suspended predators and forage fish are the only fish in the water column.
