Lots of good info. Thank you. I'm new to Evinrude? Johnson engines and I'm in the process opf buying a boat with an XP150 The seller says it's a 1994 I'm trying to match the cowling picture to a 94 brouchure. Are the 93's the same as the 94???
I think the XP 150 90 degree crossflow motor was built from 83-91.
An Intruder 150 HP 60 degree motor was also available in 91.
The 60 degree version was built 91-06 if memory serves me.
Hope that helps you find your motor in the brochures online.
Sorry but I do not have a 1994 EVINRUDE brochure yet. Some brochures are quite hard to get but I am continually working on it. I will let you know when I get one. I am converting all the brochures to Adobe PDF files & will be making them available on DVD soon.

Te last Evinrude XP150 was produced in 1991. Here is the page of the 1991 Evinrude Brochure. If you can get the Model & Serial number from the motor & post it here we can identify it.
