    TZX 195 w 175 HPDI Owners Wanted??

Been eyeing one of these that is priced good. Just wondering what the top GPS speeds y'all are getting that are running one of these. Have an 04 190 with a 150 on it now. Just thinking its time to let my 2004 go.

I have a 190 with a 175 and have seen mid 60's on cool days with a light load but regularly see low 60's with partner and tournament load. I would think the 195 would be about the same.

There is a performance bulletin on the Skeeter website. Looks like 60.4 on a 60 degree day with two people. On a similar day my ZX190 will hit about 64/65. It is a foot longer than my ZX190 but has the same beam and a very similar hull.
If you are not looking for speed the extra foot is very nice.
The ZX200 is basically the same boat but with a 200 and different consoles. It's about a 68MPH boat.

I have a '14 TZX 195 w/ hpdi 175 and would be happy to answer any questions you may have. I see 62-65 @ 5700 (this was the max going down river with the wind cool evening) by myself, normal load. 60ish with 2 people and normal load. I personally love this boat, especially for the money. Sucks they only made them 1 year but with mine and the options I got, no other model from another brand could touch it for the $$.

Skeeter is not making this boat anymore and it's basically underpowered. It's the same boat as the ZX200 without some of the bells and whistles which has a max hp of 200. You should be able to find a left over ZX200 for about the same price.

With 2 people and a full tourney load, I'm usually around 60-62. With just me and no tackle up front. It runs around 65 consistently.

They are still making the TZX180. It looks like the TZX170 is not made any more.
