Mine went out as well. They do not make them any more. The fix is to call Skeeter and make sure you are the registered owner for the boat. I think I paid $125 for that. Then when you take it to a Skeeter dealer, they will replace the pad and the computer for free. You will have to pay for the labor charge though.
It's a very common problem. Call Darby at Skeeter and he will get you what you need. My boat is a 2002 and my pad went bad 2 years ago. I think it was around $225 at the time to get a new panel and "retrofit" kit. That panel went bad about 8 months later and I called back. This time they sent me a set of rocker switches, and no problems since then!
It really isn't very hard to do at all, and everything pretty much just plugs together. However, when I first did my boat, I had to figure that out for myself, since there are no directions included. I thought I had to wire the new fuse box to the old wires, etc, and that is why the first thread is such a mess.
