    winterizing for deployment

    I will winterize my boat end of next month for 12 month deployment what I am asking is does anybody know where I can get a set of muffs for my ZV250 engine that will work, all the others that I have tried will not work??

    you need the rectangular ones....think I got mine at either walmart or west marinne

    Can't help you on the winterize but wanted to say be careful. I'm headed to Drum in February to train some soldiers up their. Be safe

    TOP, sucks to hear you are jumping the pond again. Secondly, on the engine, there should be a hose that screws into the bottom left side of the engine housing. Unscrew that hose and screw a water hose into that. The Yamaha engines do not need the ear muffs.
