help with hydralic jackplate for FX21

I just got a FX 21 that has a hydralic jackplate. I have never used one before, so I am looking for any help to get me started. I'm not a speed nut, I'm just wanting to find a good all around setting that I can leave it at. Thanks.

Re: help with hydralic jackplate for FX21 (reelblues)

I run my Atlas in the 7 Range. Watch your GPS and you can dial in the best performance. Also watch water pressure to make sure your getting at least 15psi.

If your wanting a better ride in rough water lower it a little will keep motor in the water for better ride and less blow out.
