    Trim Gauge

I recently raised my motor and now my trim gauge isn't working properly. Is there something I could have damaged or what. It will only move slightly from just below up when the motor is trimmed down to just above the up when the motor is all the way up. Its a 2008 ZX200

i updated to the new metal piece, and I still have the problem of the switch arm getting above the finger.

I have pretty much just given up on it, but would like to know if there was another adjustment.

I had the same problem. I just had to readjust the tab a couple of times, and I think the first time I had it upside down even though there is a round divit that fits in it.

glad to see I'm not the only one with a non-working trim gauge, and potentially an easy fix.

I just ran out and it looks like I've got the plastic one and that its still in-tact. But, is the little tab sticking out from the piece supposed to be above or below the little silver roller-looking arm??

Right now my silver rolling-arm piece is sitting above the tab com,ing off of the plastic ring. Is this my problem??

I was having trim gauge problems too. Upon inspecting the tab I found it was fine but still no trim indication. I tested the sending unit and found it questionable so bought a new one to the tune of about $150, plugged it in and still no trim. Found out in my case that the needle inside the gauge sometimes sticks. Just have to rap the gauge and it works fine again.

I can fix it, and if I can\'t fix it, I can fix it so no one can fix it!

Does anyone know if it is possible just to buy the arm for the switch? Mine is missing the round roller part. It just has a the triangle piece. Guess the side arm broke off.
