My boat has the straps for a fire extinguisher right below my legs by the console. What size fire extinguisher fits in these straps? At what store can I get the extinguisher at? Do you guys think any auto parts store might carry them?

Just a guess but try an RV supply store.
I can fix it, and if I can\'t fix it, I can fix it so no one can fix it!

Most, if not all, new extenguishers come with a new mount. You can buy the extenguisher you want and replace the mount.
Ok that makes sense. If I can't use the same holes for the scres should I silicone them?

I would ... I also like to put silicone on new screws before I screw them in if they are going into wood.

Like Ranger said, put silicone on the screws before you put them in. If the holes don't line up you can redrill the holes in the new mounting hardware to match the one you have, that way you are not drilling more holes in your floor. Make sense????
Perfect sense. Thanks everyone.
