Has anyone taken a passenger console out of a ZX 190 or similar boat? I'm looking to take mine out but was curious as to how to get to the bolts out from in front of the console at the rod locker.
Has anyone taken a passenger console out of a ZX 190 or similar boat? I'm looking to take mine out but was curious as to how to get to the bolts out from in front of the console at the rod locker.
They are bolted and epoxied in. Don't think it's simple to remove without tearing it up with the epoxy.

I have also heard, you can add one but not remove.

They are right, if it was installed at the factory, you are going to remove some gel when you pull it off. If it was installed by a dealer, they may or may not have put the epoxy in. If not, it's no problem.
thanks for the info. i thought it looked epoxied but wanted to ask someone who knew
