    Pad to Prop

I am running 5 1/2" centerline of prop to pad, as close as I can measure. I have heard 3 to 3 1/2" is where I should be. I am in second hole from top, no jackplate. Only can get 5100 RPM's with 23 pitch prop, trimmed clear up.
Raising motor up a hole looks to only be 3/4", so if raised up all the way, it would still be 4" below pad. I can't get to the 3" to 3 1/2" like everyone else talks about, am I missing something? Planning to raise up one hole to see if it makes a difference, but wanted some thoughts.

Did 05 Yamaha 150VMax models have different models that had deeper feet than others?

    It's on a 05 SX190.

To go higher then the bottom hole you'll need a jackplate.

Re: Pad to Prop (Skeeter SEO)

Every boat is a little different where set up is concerned. You may actually find that raising it 3/4" will get you what you are looking for so I would try that first. Just watch your water pressure when you do.
