    Looking to buy a zx 225

    I havent made up my mind if I am going to buy new or used yet. My main concern is stress cracks. I am hearing Skeeters are having gel coat issues with cracks due to rough water. If a buy used what year models are better if any in the zx 225 class? Thanks everyone.

    My 2008 is pretty much stress crack free. Only area that has them is the trolling motor pedal recess and one about 1" long coming from around the front light socket. My boat has been run pretty hard too.

    Buy my 2007 ZX225! I have never had a single issue with it. It has 2 years warranty on the engine and is loaded. I'm asking $28000

    Have a 2007, ZX225 listed here on BBC Skeeter sale board.

    Always garage kept and loaded with options.
    Some of the best electronics you can get and engine has factory warranty for 2 more years.

    I had some issues with mine but Skeeter took care of them last summer. Great work and turn around. My boat was beat up bad during the 08 Federation Championship in Kansas. Those boats shouldn't have gone out it was so rough. With everyday wear and tear I don't think my boat would have ever had any issues.

    IMO they are all gona have a few cracks...where they are is what is important. Shure there are guys gona tell you there boat has no cracks but I bet you could find some if you look.
