Evinrude 150 XP Rectifier Question/Part Verification

I have a 1986 Evinrude 150XP, E150STLCDC, Ser# J1138990 and the tach only works at low speeds, then quits. I only have 6 1/2 volts at the gray wire at the tach. So, am I safe to assume the rectifier is bad. Also could someone please verify the part number for this engine. I have checked the BRP site, and some others and there seem to be some superceding part #'s and I want to be sure I get the right one. Thanks in advance. The part number brp list is 0583268 and some other sites list 0359204 as a superceding number hence my questions. Thanks

part # 395204 is the most current PN suggested retail $295.00.
