Just talked to a guy about this boat and wanted to get some opinions on it
Its a 98 zx195c with a 2000 yamaha vmax 150hp. excellent condition with all the bells and whistles for 8500 or best offer!
Dont know much about it and just wanted to some first impressions from owners or those that have experience with the boat, thanks for your time
I have a 97 zx185c w/175 proV and I love this boat. It can go in very shallow water and handles rough water OK, as long as you can trim it out and get on top of the waves. I think the zx195 was rated for 200hp so I would think it would be slightly under powered with a 150hp. That said, if top end speed it not that important ( I would think you should see mid to upper 50's with best motor/prop set up) and if you plan to keep the boat for awhile, it sound like a good deal. My 2 cents!
Yeah, I thought the same thing about the motor! seemed like a decent price!
I had a '99 that I loved. Great boat. Its also all composite which is wht the C stands for.
