That is freaking nuts , we all seem to forget that at the end of the day all that matters is what is in the box behind the seats , I will just keep riding my old 98 and trying to catch some fish and win some change ......

It was marked down to $63K at the Arlington Texas Outdoor show if that makes any difference. LOL

    Re: FX21 (Mark Perry)

They are marked at 66,000 at a TN boat show. Is skeeter becoming the old ranger? Costing much more than they are worth. I climbed through that FX and wasn't impressed at all. My 03 has more storage and there's really no difference from the FX to a I class.

    Re: FX21 (rammerjammer)

wow that is much better than the $70k originally posted so do they come with a 30 year fixed or adjustable mortgage . Not knocking anybody that can afford it but wow , what will it be worth in two years $30k maybe sounds like my 401 k.I love skeeter products and plan on keeping one but I will wait and see when and if we turn this country around before I would even remotely consider it .just my 2 cents and I am sure there will be many that will disagree but my sponsors are me and my wife so not for me ............

    Re: FX21 (HeadHunter9)

70 grand may be MSRP, so you can buy it for 66 grand? well that makes all the difference! lol

if I won the lottery I'd buy one, but short of that it's an ungodly amount of money for a bass boat as nice as it may be. I'm still happy with my third owner, 12 grand Skeeter, and I re-mortgaged my house just to buy that!

Common Sense...so rare, it's kind of like a SUPER POWER!

my boat stickered for 65,000 21i and i payed 50,000 out the door brand new with some extras thrown in and my boat has everything possible on it dual side imaging 997's and i couldnt think of one option left off the order form so im sure when some one goes to buy one it wont be 70,000 more like 50-55 which playes ball with all the other boats of that caliber

    Re: FX21 (gotmy5)

The reality is this. Here in our area you can buy an FX for about $2000 more than the same size iClass. Another poster in another state said the same after attending a boat show. Some folks just want to argue but will not take the time to verift their info. Its easy just call a Skeeter dealer and get a quote. it is nowhere near $70,000. Like most things you can't always believe all you hear and read. If you are truly wanting to know the cost, make a phone call. It is wuick and easy.

    Re: FX21 (sawbuck)

I sold my 2007 Z21 to buy the new Z521 last month. I live in Illinois but have a winter home in Texas north of Houston. Two weeks ago at the Texas boat show they had the Z521 there so I decided to take a look. As I was looking the boat over there was a smal group of people gathered around this new boat from Skeeter so I wandered over there and I was very impressed it looked very aggressive, both the boat (FX21) and the new SHO Yamaha 250. As I was standing there a rep from Skeeter walked over to me and we started shooting it. He asked me what I thought of the new FX. I told him I was very impressed but I was 100% sold on the Ranger. He chuckled and then said "I tell you what I am going to pick up another one next week to take it to another boat show and since its made here in Texas and I will be coming through here I will give you a demo ride on Lake Conroe there has been only a handful of people to ever step foot into this boat". I said what the heck I am down here on a two month vacation. Sure enough I got the call it was a cloudy day with a good chop on the water. So I jumped in and we made our way past the no wake area (it was hard to hear the motor it was to quite) and he then said "now I want you to hold on and check this out". He laid on the hot foot and we jumped out so fast I was blow away and then within a few seconds we were racing down the lake at over 70 over two footers. I was sure we were going to flip it and just about then he said "hold on again and lean into me". We took a hard right turn and the boat never jumped it just dug in and in a split second it seems we were running 72 again. Then a little while longer he stopped and said it was my turn when I lifted myself up from the seat my legs were limp and I didn't have a drop of water on my body. I drove it hard for about 15 minutes and that was all she wrote. I had a chance also to test drive the Z521 but knew it was a waste of time I knew the Ranger had no chance against that Monster. I didn't make any friends when buying the boat I beat up 6 different dealers and talked too 20. (Sterling hul with black and white strips, white deck, black consoles, 977 si Hummingbird in the dash and a 788 up front, keel guard, hydraulic jack plate and a few other upgrades out the door at 58000 if you added it all up and MSRP it would have been around 76. I saved 2500 at least shopping around if your thinking about it don't wait there is going to be a log jam very son. Best deal is a guy from a dealer in Appleton Wisconsin ask for Greg he really knows his stuff I knew more about the boat then most dealers I talked too.
