    Lock n Haul

I got in my Lock N Haul transom saver today. I like the way it keeps the motor straight on the mount. Just a pretty neat device and Made in Weatherford,Texas.

If you want to hear that debate, just do a search on transom savers.....

No, NO device out there does, unless you remove your motor while towing.

More stable, (up & down, left & right) than any product/motor/brace/toter, than I have ever had.
Maybe not perfect...but the best I have seen and tried.

    Re: Lock n Haul (PeanutMan)

I finally got the boat out and ran over to the lake 45 miles away. It worked great and about 5 miles is a rough county road. My lower unit was getting beat up from some of the jarring with the traditional saver. I even bent the last one when a rock hit it. Pretty good product.

    Re: Lock n Haul (SkeeterBob)

I just went to the moto stop transom saver, several weeks ago. The transom saver that came with the boat had already worn out and the boat was new in June. The pads had worn so that they scarched and wore into the metal on the lower unit and the alum on the rod down to the trailer had already split were it is adjustable. I had already bought the clips to keep the motor from turning while going down the road.
Been out several times with the up-grade and can really see the differance driving down the road. Here in Calif. all roads seem like wash board dirt roads of North Ga.
It is about 35 miles from the driveway to the Delta. The road is so all over the place with pot-holes and ups and downs.
