Not sure but putting that much HP on a boat rated for 200....I wouldn't do it but that's just me.
If I remember the story correctly, in the neighborhood of 87mph and on the limiter at around 300 hp. I don't know the exact setup but doubt there were a lot of motor modifications. It wasn't me. I don't know if I have the "manhood" for that type of performance.
isnt the rule of thumb on HP vs. MPH about 1MPH per 10HP? so with that being said I wouldnt think he would break 80.
He could break 80 pretty easy. Don't ask me how I know.
I still plee the 5th.

I would say at least 85. Reason i say that is i have a buddy that had one, it was a zx200 with a mercury Pro max on the back that was worked up to aorund 280hp and I've seen it do 82 with both of us in it.
God grant that i may fish until my dying day and when it comes to my last cast i then most humbly pray that when in the lord safe landing net i\'m peacefully asleep that i be judged as one good enough to keep.
Buddy this sounds like good enough info to get that motor sold.
