    How to buff marks off???

Was in heavy current the other day and had to load boat with trolling motor. Boat (I-Class with Polymer Fenders) got sideways on trailer and tore the carpet exposing the black hard plastic fender boards. Boards rubed on white hull and left thick black scratch marks. Tried to scrape off with fingernail with no luck. What should I do? They look really bad and I want to fix them right away

2000 grit sand paper would be one way to do it.

I use Interlux light duty rubbing compund. Most scuff marks and scratches disapper with minimal effort.

Get yourself some Magic Erasers. They are the greatest on a white boat.

My carpet is coming apart on one side so right now i am extra careful loading the boat. I just picked up some replacement carpet today and plan on making repairs during the next week or so. I seem to have had a lot of repairs to make this year especially on the trailer

I,ve done the same thing in a strong wind. Take a cloth damped with acetone and the marks will just wipe off.
