Kinda new to the boating world. From the best i can tell most everyone has a 25m on their 150's. I noticed that my boat came with a 23m.. What's the difference? Thanks

I run a 25M as well. From what I have read on this board the only difference is about 200 rpms. I can run 5400-5600 rpms with speeds from 60-63 mph (gps). I think the fellas with the 23's are running about the same speeds with slightly higher rpms.
Check me if I am wrong on that guys.![]()
I have a 23M on mine and run 56-58 (GPS), 5600-5800 R's in the summer heat. Winter it's around 6000 R's @ 60-62 (GPS). I would like to try a 25 one day.
Marsh, do you have a jackplate?

You are right about the weather part. Most of the time I am seeing about 60.
62-63 have been much less frequent only on cold, dry days, and I have also seen the "Hotter than Africa" days and the best I could do was 58.
Sounds like for the most part we are running very similar depending on load and conditions.

Yeah, i could probably dump some junk out and lose about 50 pounds on myself and i might see 60 all the time.
