How far below the pad are you guys running your prop shafts? Just put another motor on the Skeeter! Need to know pretty close where to start at. Thanks Randall

well my tzx 190 is runnin 1" 1/4 below the pad i know thats higher than most people
Rule of thumb is to start 3 1/2" below the pad, run the boat and check for blow-out, RPM's and water pressure. Try to check your speed with a GPS so you have something solid to go by. Based on what you find when you run it you can raise or lower the engine accordingly, once you start to lose speed and your RPM's come up you know you went to far. Hope this helps you out.....
My 2006 200HDPI ran great 2 inches below....very precise measuring of height required...the low water pickup the past few years means up up and away is lots easier.
