recessed trolling moter foot

I just bought a 2005 tzx 200 and I was wondering if anybody had any comments about recessing my foot on my trolling motor. Any do's or dont's....... THANKS

I installed the ComfortTroll in my ZX225. The install should be the same. There are lots of posts out there of people that installed these on ZX and TZX boats. Here is one I found quickly:

I like the ComfortTroll because it is metal. I have a MG Digital with the metal foot pedal and it works well with this setup.

i had the marina i bought my boat from do mine they you should reinforce the deck after you cut the hole they did it on mine
