Well get to the lake, little wind, little chop not much though. I run the stock 27x14 1/2 M1 prop to 72.0mph at 5700rpm consistantly. I have played with the jackplate endlessly on this prop. I have hit 73-73.5 with good chop and wind before but this is for today.
Get the boat out of the water and swap props. I feel absolutely no difference. Holeshot feels the same, midrange feels same, top speed is 72.0mph at 5700rpm. I moved the jackplate probably ten times and ended up at the same place my old prop liked. Even looking at the two props side by side the blades look almost identical. I couldn't tell you which prop was which if you swapped them. Guess I'll trade this 26p fury for a 25p and see what that does.![]()
