Should I be mad or happy

This is in the lounge also, but I figured it was pertinent here as well!

So anyone who thinks Skeeter and their dealers don’t take care of their customers should look at what they have been doing for me. Most all of these issues were preventative other than the Hull and the trailer fenders. Since they inconvenienced me they have done all of these things while waiting for parts. The dealer is 6 hours one way from me, so they are making sure everything is right. However they have had it since november....And after this trip will have it into march sometime.

    Redid the pad
    Redid all logos
    Replaced cup holder
    Replaced locking mechanisms
    Replaced keypad
    Replaced pumps
    Remounted STH Transudcer

    Did oil pump recall
    Replaced impeller
    Replaced Water Pressure Gauge

    Replaced trailer bearings
    Adjusted axles

Skeeter or someone in transit broke one of my fenders when return shipping and of course they don’t make the color anymore so:

    Replacing both Fender skirts
    Replacing all fiberglass fender parts
    Color matching with new parts

Re: Should I be mad or happy (coloradoman25)

I know you said you got this boat used, are you the 2nd owner or are you reg as the 1st owner???

I would be happy and not worred about the drive or the time they had it if there doing all that

Hell I'm the 2nd owner of a team boat and they told me to go screw myself on the replacing the center seat skin where it came apart at the very bottum of the seat and it was plan as day that it had nothing to do with someone stepping on it.

Hell I don't even have a dealer to talk to in so cal

So in my eyes you got WELL Taken Care of

First registered, and my closest dealer is Texas so I can understand your frustration about distance.

I guess what gets me most is the fact that I sent the boat in november. Called 4 weeks ago telling them I would be taking a trip and then just 3 days ago the fender problem appeared.

Yes that would get me alittle also on the fender deal, I would be asking for a boat to use for your trip Seems to me they have had your boat along time allready and if they knew of this trip weeks ago they should be johnny on the spot to get it done right noooooooooooow before your trip

Chris, sounds like your dealer has done very well for you... FYI, there was a Skeeter Dealer in Alma, Nebraska... Might be closer, might not...

I am also the 2nd owner of a team boat....the original owner did take mine back to the factory and they fixed the major things....I think once they knew he was selling it they were through with it...I was kinda suprised how they treated him knowing he was selling this one to buy another.....
