    transom saver question

I tow with a motor toter/transom saver. I see a lot of boats that do not use them, it seems my engine sticks out like a target with it. I feel like I should use one because I always have with other boats but this boat the engine seems to stick straight out. Ideas, suggestions

Some of the best battles ever on BBC have been in the threads regarding transom savers. In my manual Skeeter recommends the transom saver.

I think you can adjust the length of your transom saver so your engine does not stick straight out. I know mine has an adjustment on the shaft, you just take the bolt out and slide it to the length you need and put the bolt back in.
