Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day
Teach a man to fish, he will complain that you stole his fishing spot.
Thanks, the trailer manual don't give you much info.
For some reason i'm thinking it's DOT 4. I read this somewhere. What is the difference b/w 3 & 4? Also can ask Lyn Dyer on the trailer fourm.

Dot 3 and 4 can be interchanged or mixed.
Dot 4 has a higher boiling point {wet and dry} than Dot 3. But Dot 3 still rates high enough to be used for trailer brakes.
Dot 2 was for drum brakes only, but it is not used anymore.
Dot 5 is Silicone based and does not mix with Dot 3 or Dot 4.

I had a leak on my brake line and replaced it. I read some where what to use. I just don't remember what.
I do have the bottles in the shed, i'll have to check and see what they are.
