    Boat Insurance

Has anyone ever had any dealings with Boat US Angler Insurance. My Dealer can't tell me anything about them.

I have it now. I have never dealt with them claim wise. I probably wont renew with them, seems they nickel and dime you to death. ($5 service fee per payment, gotta join this and join that ect). Also seems they push their on water towing service alot, If I ever breakdown it wont do me a dang bit of good since they arent on any water I fish.

I had my old Ranger go down at a dock due to an unpredicted storm. They sent an adjuster quick. Everything was taken care of immediately and with no problems. I had new electronics at my house within a week. All work repair checks were sent promptly. I have NO complaints at all, especially since that day was a disaster!

They have also been great with reviewing my quotes. I actually had a rate reduction.

    Re: Boat Insurance (Larry)

Here's my idea. When I decided to look at alternate boat insurance (I had always used State Farm), I called the local repair shop whom I had a relationship with and asked for their input. They told me that they had the least trouble with customer claims with State Farm, American Family and Progressive.

I went with Progressive, did the whole deal on line, and saved a bunch of money over State Farm.

I had had a few claims when with State Farm, and they were outstanding to deal with so no complaints, but they were expensive.

Have had no claims since going with Progressive and hope not to, but my shop says I will have no problems.

I am in the Kansas City area and all may different somewhere else, but I heartily recommend to contact a local repair shop for their input.
