I have had this boat for 3 months now. I have an 07 zx225 with 225 hpdi,stock set up and prop. what would be the best setup for this rig. I get 20+ psi wot at 6000 rpms and only get about 66 to 69 mph. I know it capable of more but need help to get there..... 66 is loaded w/fuel and tackle and 1 other person.. I read people getting mid 70's with this boat. just wanna know how......

Wow, that is really slow for that boat. I get 71-73 loaded and have hit 75 several times by myself with a light fishing load. Mine is a 2004 but it should be close.
Your RPMs are there, I would try raising the motor up a 1/4 inch at a time and make runs. Take the tools with you to the lake.
That is slow, I'm running that or better with my 4 stroke. I'll look at the settings on one and let you know what they are.
hey thanks I do appreciate it. I know this boat should get mid 70s. This is a new rig only 30hrs or so now. Any help is great...... And by the way it runs and rides alot better than the COBRA that I sold to get this one... I love this boat and know its capable of more..................
I am running about 1 7/8" split in the jack plate with a stock 25TI prop and getting about 73 fully loaded in my 05 I hope that helps
What do you mean 1 7/8 split on plate? I do have the 25 ti and sitting 3 1/2" below pad right now.
I meant by split being the distance measured between transom mounted plate and the plate that slides up and down. I measure right where these plates meet, this is how I was told by skeeter that they measure their set up at the factory.
