Does anyone have pictures of the seats in a 1997 ZX or SX 180? I have a 1996 ZX180 and was wondering if the seats were similar. Thinking about getting the skins from Skeeter if the 1997 is close to mine.

Well nevermind I guess...I just called my local Skeeter dealer and was told that they dont make a skin for a 1996 (which I already knew), and for me to get a set of skins for a 1997, I would need to be able to provide a hull serial number...Then referred me to some upholstery shop that can "get them as close as possible"
You would think that they could just order the skins for the 1997 and have them sent.
sounds to me like if they have a cutoff at '97 then there must of been a change that year. I think you will be surprised at how well an upholstery shop can do, just do a little research and find one that does a lot of marine work. In '99 I had my seats in my '93 Skeeter re-upholstered from a shop and I was very pleased, looked really close to the OEM, only thing I could tell was the red was just a shade off but it still looked great.

They aren't even close to the same style. I have a 1997 ZX 185c, and my Dad had a 1996 ZX180 in which we actually bought the 1997 ZX185c seats to replace in his 1996 ZX180.
They were way too wide and didn't even come close to fitting. My Dad eventually sold the 1996 ZX180 and put the new seats in a ZX185c he purchased.
The 1996 ZX180 has a narrower beam. I believe it is near 88, the 1997 ZX185c is 92.
I believe that may have been an issue wit the seat designs.
