    Livewell pumpout

I have a 1999 Skeeter ZX185c, and am the original owner. I am wanting to install a livewell pumpout, and am looking for the best way to do this. I have been told about Flow rites pumpout system, but to get to the plumbing on the back of the livewells the gas tank would have to be removed. I can see the tubes, but there is no way I could get my hands in there to do anything. Any other ideas?

I have the same boat and recently pulled the gas tank to replace the aerator pumps. It was not a bad job, I emptied the tank of all but about 5 gallons of gas and was able to get it out without any help. I would recommend getting all the gas out if you can. I emptied it and going backin, it was much easier.
My Skeeter had two valves (fill, empty, recirc) and two pumps. Each live well has a bottom drain and an overflow. At the back of the transom are four bulkhead fittings, one inlet and one outlet for each live well. If you have the inlets and outlets you should be ale to buy the valves(Flowrite) and pumps ( I changed from Rule to Johnson) and make your fill and drain automatic. You will also need some brackets that Florite sells. If you need any more info let me know.

I installed the Flowrite pump out system today. I had to remove 2 batterys, and the gas tank but it wasnt as hard as I thought it would be to get the tank out. The only problem I had was the location of the water outlet tube. I wanted it to come out the side of the boat, and I had very little room to hook the hose to the tube, if I would have put the tube out the rear of the boat it would have been a breaze. Everything looks nice and neat, now I just need to catch some fish so I can fill my weigh in bag without crawling under the boat!

Get a short hose normally 5/8 OD to stuff into the discharge hole and put it in the bag as it hangs off of the rear cleat. Your bag will fill up while you get the fish out of the livewell. No messy filling. That system works great.
