That I believe had never been disassembled and looked brand new. Since I am new to outboards every task I have done I have had to redo at least 3 times. This includes replacing a vro and impeller/lower unit. Now the outboard looks like it is 20 years old with all the paint gone from bolt heads and the scrape here and there. I see threads about touch up paint, is there any secrets to getting it to match and stick? I think about maybe wiping everything with laquer thinner or something to get the grease off or do you just pressure wash it and spray away? Let me know if you have been sucessful or have a suggestion. Thanks!
